I think I've mentioned it before.
And, I made a Brigitte dress again!
I like sewing my garments from my favorite patterns. Of course it sounds nothing but reasonable, because there wouldn't be anybody who loves using the patterns that she/he hates! However, what I'd love to bring here is that I am very comfortable with using particular patterns for multiple, multiple, and multiple times and shamelessly fond of putting on those cloned clothes.

Bad blogger.
She tortures you with the same stories and the same patterns. It doesn't help you a bit that the dress pattern is Japanese.

pattern: anneecotton* "Brigittecotton"
fabric: cotton jersey PU blend, soft and stretchy, about 1.2x1.5m

This is so lovely...you should start making your own clothesline, for those who are the same size as yours...yay...you make pretty dresses...! I envy you!!
ReplyDeleteI love the dress, I would do the same, making many dresses from that pattern. It is very flattering on you!

This dress is very pretty! You did not torture us with the same pattern. The same pattern on different fabric or a little modification creates different stylish look. You are so talented. Excellent workmanship !
ReplyDeleteI don't think it boring at all to see multiple dresses from the same pattern. This pattern makes the prettiest of dresses. I don't think I could ever tire of looking at them. Each one is individual.
ReplyDeleteSo Beautiful!
ReplyDeletegorgeous dress and you look stunning in it.
ReplyDeletegood blogger!
Beautifully elegant. It is so pretty! I never tire of seeing new garments made with the same pattern.
ReplyDeleteI love the whole look. It is winter here, but I am definitely making a blue floral for Spring. I'd never think to put red shoes with it. But having a major "Dorothy" complex I'll have to follow that too!
ReplyDeleteAll the dresses look so different so there is no need to feel you are making the 'same' dress. Love the fabric you used in your latest version!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super cute color and dress! I also love sewing things from the same favorite patterns over and over. Best part is you know they will flatter and fit. Greta combo with the shoes too. I love blue + orange.

Love your dress with red shoes!
ReplyDeleteOnce you have sewn a style once, it is much quicker second (third, fourth...) time around!
There is nothing better than using a pattern several times. I also did it. The first time I completely folowed the instructions, and the second and third times was just fun being creative.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your variations!!
Great dress! You look lovely in this! This style is flattering on you and the fabric is truly pretty:)
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cute dress. And it doesn't matter at all if you use the same pattern over and over. As far as I can see right now you use lots of variations and it seems like a different dress every time again. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful dress!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous dress! I'm glad you the perfect dress pattern! The fabric is just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI do feel tortured, not only do I love the pattern, I love your fabric even more. I am drooling over its beautiful colors. Yoshimi, your style is a great inspiration to me. If only I could read Japanese. :)
